Valuing Green Real Estate

 The ability to accurately value green building beyond the immediate cost savings will incentivize an increased investment in sustainable real estate.  Incentives are being provided by government regulators to promote green development. Valuation expects and investors need to identify the value in which these incentives generate and quantify the positive impacts of green building versus conventional building in order to achieve optimal financial results for investors and carbon reduction goals for society.
